BOK Psychology is a newly established Melbourne-based, mental health service provider with a passion for delivering personalized, client-centered support to individuals and their families. BOK Psychology is managed by Alexandra Miranda, a Registered Psychologist and Rehabilitation Counsellor, with more than 20 years’ experience in Allied Health. Over the past decade, Alexandra has worked as a Rehabilitation Counsellor and Specialist Employment Consultant for private and Government organizations. She has assisted people with a work-related injury or a permanent disability find sustainable employment in the open labour market. More recently, Alexandra has worked with children and adolescents in schools as a School Psychologist and is proficient in assessing and delivering treatment programs to young people with emotional or special needs. Assessments Alexandra is proficient in administering various psychometric tests and is highly competent in using psychoeducational assessments such as the WISC-V and WIAT-III. Alexandra is familiar with a plethora of evidence-based psychological tools that can assist in the diagnosis and treatment of different mental health disorders affecting both young people and adults. Therapeutic Support/Counselling Alexandra is experienced in delivering counselling and psychosocial support via different modalities to people from all ages and backgrounds. She has a gentle and calm approach to help, guide and support people to achieve optimal emotional wellbeing.
